YO!

haha. I am back from ATC...



ATC was at Pulau Ubin, the other side of ubin to be exact, therefore it is held in a different place from OBS. That campside is some sort of officially for NPCC. super cool~ ATC was much more tiring than OBS. OBS was more slack. ATC was strict but still manageable. haha. ATC 3 days 2 nights, i find it too short. There was not enough time for us to complete most of the activities and no time for us to bathe, although i did bathe for the first day. haha i was lucky. many of us never had the chance to bathe. Also, not enough time for my group, orange, to get bonded. but overall, its FUN ^^



first day



I arrived at ngee ann sec, saw grace, megan, ali, hazim and rahim. Some of our ncos are there too... early birds. haha. NCO Gareth's bag was like HUGE. i think it can fit 5 to 6 days clothing. hahas. however, on the other side, NCO Yan Yang's bag was like soooo TINY. around 5 times smaller. difference sooo big. hahas. NCO Xun Fang was comparing their bags. Super funny.

Then after most of us had arrived, we board a shuttle bus to Changi Jetty. Some went for Friday prayers while some came late due to some misunderstanding of the time to assemble. heehee we were supposed to meet 12 but the consent form was typed 1 plus. lol. Chatted with Megan along the way. haha.

Reached and saw JunYuan Sec. started to drizzle a bit. As there is too many of us and the boat can only hold 10 passangers and 2 crew, so we were being split into 2 groups. I was with NCO Amirah, NCO Xun Fang, NCO Yan Yang, Jian Li, Esmond, Rahim, Ali, Mdm Netti. i tink. The boat ride was super funny. The "captain" of the boat left the steering wheel unattended and walked out of the boat and went in through another door in front. All of us was staring at him, suprised. we kept looking at the steering wheel and looked at what exactly the "captain" wanted to do. Luckily, the boat didn't crash into any obstacles in the sea. -.-. obviously. the boat ride was around 10 mins plus plus. quite fast. before we stepped out of the boat, jian li was trying to give the "captain" packet food. (the packet food was other ppl from other cca passed it to us when they couldn't finish it before we set off from ngee ann). The "captain" rejected many times, we were laughing at jian li, who was "rejected" by the "captain". super hilarous. In the end, Esmond and Jian li left all the packed food in the boat and told the "captain": we leave it here. its for you. (sth like that.) haha~

At that time, the sky started to downpour. omg. we had to put on our poncho. haizz. i dislike it when it rains. but it was a nice experience. trekking to our campsite under rain. the wind was quite strong and my poncho kept flying upwards. zzz. But it's still alright because my shirt and my bag wasn't wet! Trackpants, my socks, my shoes my hair all soaked with rainwater. On the way to the campsite, which is a long way up, JunYuan Sec was much more hyper than us. They sang NPCC songs and ngee ann just "emo-ed" the way up. HAHA.

we were the first two schools to reached. haha we were fast. but fast also no use, we just sat down at the foyer and crapped. Grace and Jia En was sharing their LAME jokes(that made us feel colder in such a cold weather). and franda and i learned that we have no 自尊心 through one of jia en's jokes. haha inside joke. after crapping lame jokes, some other schools arrived. Some schools took shuttle bus to the campsite. eee. unfair. they were all dry while we were wet. zzz.

after that, when the weather turned nicer, all the sec 2 cadets went to another campsite(i forgot the name), walked long long route again. We were then split into 8 groups. My group, GROUP 2, had the most ngee ann people. haha. so lucky. Got jolynn, ali, rahim, jing hao, syafiq, zhi hong and me. haha. cool~

here comes the funny part. we were falling in in two rows. beside our group, was group 3 and a mdm was taking incharge. the mdm said: when i call out ur name, say yes mdm.

and i was listening to what the mdm says. i was very obedient. haha. because, suddenly i heard my name and i shouted "yes mdm" then i turned around to see who was taking attendance and guess what... its a SIR!!! omg. then my whole group was laughing at me. HAHA. super sotong. i quickly corrected my answer then the sir replied : please hor dont change my sex for me anymore. HAHA. we laugh even harder. super paiseh sia. afterwards, another sir asked all of us to make friends by saying hello and ask each other's name in our group. Khairi and i exchanged hellos and he started di siao-ing me. He kept calling my name and made echos for it too. zzz. but its funny la, the way it sounded. then i di siao him too. one of the sir couldn't pronounce his name and pronounced it as 'curry'. haha. then i kept calling him curry. but only for awhile haha.

Then we walked all the way back to the first campsite after all the groupings are settled. So in total, my group was made up of 23 cadets, 7 girls and 16 boys. Got yuhui, clare, nabilah, farah, tarhirah, jolynn, nicholas, syafiq, min jun, aloysius, khairul, faris, khairi, ryan, timothy, zhi hong, jing hao, ali, rahim, syafiq, wei jie, shah and me. woah. super big group.

then one sir introduced the camp's main theme: Think big, Start small, Go Deep.

and the sub-theme is RAINBOW. had a little bit of science lesson as the sir was teaching us how rainbows are formed. haha. he said this: when the sun shine, go in the water droplet and rainbow come out. FUNNY SIA. so short.

then we learned that our group is called ORANGE. named after the colours of the rainbow. very funny sia the name. we never pitch the tents cos its drizzling. got to bathe. i was trying my luck. i grabbed my stuffs and sped to the toilet then i was so lucky, left one that had no one inside. haha. chionged bathing. shiok. we got to sleep in the foyer while the boys get to sleep in the canteen. dinner was erm ok. magi mee. not totally cooked. haha. no choice cos not enough time. sad.

skipped to night time. the campsong leaders started teaching campfire songs. beside me was NCO zhou hao(sp?) and syafiq. i made friends with aloysius(aka jaguar/loy loy) and min jun(aka leopard). heehee. some songs are nice and cool but some i dun get it. then there is one part when dunno who asked what's the camp theme and NCO zhou hao said it out but the rest of us beside him heard "go dick" instead of "go deep" dunno is his pronounciation got wrong or my hearing got problem but its super funny. oh ya and i finnally mastered the pissed by the river song. haha.

then we proceed to our bedtime. me and jolynn shared one poncho. super squeezy. haha. we had no place to sleep then in the end we slept at somewhere near the corridor. slept at 12 plus like that. k, here comes the disappointing part. Jolynn and i woke up in the middle of the night and we was like eh wad time arh then we ask a sir and he said 2 plus. we were expectin 4 plus... zzz

then we had to sleep again till the clock reads 5 plus or 6. super cold. oh ya in the middle of the night there was dogs barking aka singng lulleby. haha.

Day 2

the day i became RARA ic... defination of RARA ic: supposed to keep the grp hyper at all times... zzz my battery life gonna die le they still want me go hyper. haha. we only sang rasa sayang hey along the way to our respective checkpoints.
khairul was our grp ic, aloysius was our logistic ic, nicholas was our time keeper(the only one wearing watch) and minjun was our water parade ic(who sabo-ed us keep drinking water ever now and then and made us keep going to the toilet.) haha.

woke up had pt. sitting down on the muddy field wasnt nice. got all muddy and wet.
but pt wasn't tough. then after breakfast, went for low ropes. it was fun. got bonded with others. super nice. we had to support the one that is walking on the log or balancing on a rope. all the guys are gentleman cos they said ladies first. zzz. then since yuhui they all dun wanna go first, i was the one trying all those stuffs first. balancing on the rope was tricky. my grp de ppl kept making me laugh. so i was like shaking tgt with the rope. then the guys tried to scare me by boo-ing me. they almost succeeded as i almost fall. lucky aloysius was behind me, supporting me. so heng if not i not here le. thanks aloysius. haha. then there was one that we had to crawl in a short tunnel made up of ropes. i think we all looked like some crazy animals crawling in some random tunnels. i got stucked halfway cos my shoe came off. haha.

then when crawl finish the tunnel, there is a swing like thingy where we had to sit on it and glide till we reach a net. haha. that was the FUN part. super shiok. but some of us finds it scary. min jun was like ehh the swing will break anot. then the instructor there said: i 60 plus kg the thing also never break, u sit confirm wun break de. haha. oh ya the instructor very nice, he let us to use hands to support while walking on a swinging log, if not we all fall down le.

oh then there's a maze in a underground thingy. super dark. can only use hands and legs to find the exit. all the 7 of us(girls) went in tgt. we held hands. i and yu hui held hands. she's afraid of total darkness. but we all very brave, we never scream.

then report for lunch, magi mee again. then sec 2s got scolded for not washing the mess tin properly. got nagged at. then went for kayaking. late for an hour. so no kayaking for grp 1 to 3. so sad. be onli got to test our buoyancy jacket. so meaning we soaked ourselves in the seawater and come out le. zzz. the instructors showed some stuns... one of the sirs down there super strict. grp 1 kena pumping cos they took the longest time to change into dry clothing among us(grp 1 to 3)... and then we proceeded to biloutte(sp??). kind of topography. seriously learned many things about compass reading and pacing. eg man to man, man to object etc.

then we didnt get to bathe. only had chance to change into new clothing.

dinner. magi mee again. I saw 4 WILD BOARS... they were about 2-3 metres away nia. all same size. haha. so cute.

then there was ppl from the news station came to film us. we had to walk in the field group by group for the taking down of the flags. at first its still ok then it RAIN. zzz. then because they havent film finish and the flag wasnt down yet, so we had to stand there and got all drenched. zzz.

this also means that campfire gonna have no fire. haha. then everyone gathered in the canteen and lights off. had light sticks as fire instead. lol.

then my grp and grp 1 combine needa perform cheer and skit. both was screwed up. lol. sec 3s perform better than sec 2s. that's all i can say. LOL. was sleepy during campfire. played chi-ko-pak with dion, jian li and grace. haha, dion was in npcc!!! so shocked la. k skip.

this time i didnt slept on poncho. had my trackpants as my blanket. super cold. this time slept from 12 plus to 4 plus. super tired.

last day. area cleaning. had a great time crushing waterbottles flat. we were responsible of the cleaning up of the canteen. i think we did a great job. haha. bhb. k then me, khairul, aloysius, tarhirah and faris went to refill all the spare waterbottles to the brim. our sir told us a method to fill the bottles very fast. inside joke.

then we sorted out our rations and distributed among ourselves. haha. then we were told to prepare another cheer that got to do with our grp name. super funny. haha. xi shua shua xi shua shua orange. haha k inside joke again. then photo taking. funny sia everybody, regardless sec 2 or 3 or sir or mdm all joined in the photo. funny. i was wondering if can see everyone's face anot. haha.

then we said bye to each other and joined in back with nasians. took grp photo again and we depart for the Jetty!!! sang some campfire songs along the way. then kept another 5 mins walk. had fun sining and laughing. sailed back to changi jetty and then me, xinyi,grace and megan went to have lunch at changi village.^^ but before that, i di siao-ed someone. haha. ate nasi lemak. yum yum. deli~cious. and then grace saw a rat in one of the stalls. lol. she almost lost her appetite. then we talked some things and me and xinyi tgt with hazim and esmond, we took 109 back to our own home. haha.

( i earned myself 2 ant bites, 3 mosquito kisses and a blacker face... -.- even my swimming coach say i become blacker le. haha)


went to sleep. take a nap after bathing(wah shiok).

then went to swimming.
tried the wear pyjamas and tee shirt swim 2 laps. i swam and timming was 2:38 min.
must be within 3 min. almost cannot pass le. sian. hope wed go take test can pass.
then the make float and diving was ok. more relaxing.
